Biography

I have over 25 years experience in Broadcast, Commercial, Corporate and Documentary work. I first started shooting in the mid 80’s for Network 10 news and current affairs. The best thing about filming current affairs is it teaches you to work fast and efficiently, which over the years has been a great foundation for my work.

I ventured out into the freelance world and worked on all of the major television shows including Lifestyle, Kids TV, Sport, Travel and Music shows. I had the opportunity to work for Midday with Kerri-Anne, for 3 years, travelling Australia and the World filming feature stories.

I have been the DOP on many interesting documentaries including “In the Face of Danger”, a story on HMAS Anzac as she was worked up to go to the Gulf war. “ Operation Jumbo”, the drama involved in a herd of elephants saved from Sumatra and transported to a new home in Bali. “Botano Bay”, Australian Navy Seals disarming World War 2 explosives in East Timor. “Short Stories “, a 4-part series about a group of short statured people living in Western Sydney.

For 10 years I was fortunate enough to film a medical reality series at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital,”RPA”, which allowed me to meet and work with the most amazing, talented and courageous people. It was some of the best years of my working life.

I have a passion for telling people’s stories through video, whether it be a Broadcast feature story, Documentary, Commercial or Corporate venture.
